White Oak Mayor Ina Jean Marton reminded residents at this week’s council meeting that two polling places in the borough have changed for the Nov. 3 general election.

Marton said registered voters in District 3, who voted at Francis McClure Elementary School in previous election cycles, will vote at Sampson’s Mills Church, located at 1656 Lincoln Way.

Voters in District 4, who in previous election cycles voted at St. Angela Merici Church, will vote at the General Smedley D. Butler Post 701 White Oak American Legion, located at 2813 Capitol St.

Polling places that have not changed for Election Day are:

• District 1 — White Oak American Legion Post 701.

• District 2 — Wesley United Methodist Church (1201 Prescott St.).

• District 5 — Sampson’s Mills Church.

• District 6 — Rainbow Volunteer Fire Co. (2916 Jacks Run Road).

• District 7 — White Oak Borough Municipal Building (2280 Lincoln Way).

White Oak American Legion Post 701 will be having an Election Day homemade soup sale. Quarts of wedding, chicken noodle and beef vegetable and chili will be $8. Call 412-672-7994 or 412-385-4000 for inquires.
