By obits

Allan fell asleep in the Lord on Sept. 10, 2020. He was the son of the late Andrew and Margaret Brith- inee, born on Dec. 27, 1938. Allan was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Monessen. He graduated from Monessen High School in 1956. He served his country in the U.S.A.F., stationed in Alaska. Following his honorable discharge, he attended the University of Akron, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management. He was employed by Otis Elevator in Cleveland, Ohio, and 3M Corp. in Detroit, Mich., before moving to Boulder, Colo. He was blessed to accomplish his dream of learning to fly and became an avid skier. Upon his return to the area, he became a member of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Church of South Side of Pittsburgh. Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Marilyn Druash; and his nieces and nephews, Mauri and Jim Gladys, Rebecca and Steve McNulty, Marjorie Druash and Nance and David Sampson; as well as several great-nephews and great-nieces. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the family chose to have a private visitation at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Church, followed by the burial service officiated by the V. Rev. Father John Haluszczak. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to VLADIMIR S. CORBA KAPELUCK FUNERAL HOME of Carnegie. Entombment followed in St. Vladimir Cemetery, Bethel Park, Pa.
