William Fritsky, 85, of Munhall, formerly of Belle Vernon, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2020, at Grandview Estates of Elizabeth. Born Dec. 27, 1934, in Belle Vernon, he was the son of the late Wassil and Mary Staranka Fritsky. A resident of Munhall for the past 50 years, Mr. Fritsky was a member of St. Mary’s Russian Orthodox Church, McKeesport. Mr. Fritsky was retired from Enclosures Direct Corp., where he worked as a purchasing manager, served in the U.S. Army, enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He is survived by his wife, Nancy L. Bickerton Fritsky, to whom he was married 54 years; son and daughter-in-law, John and Abby Fritsky of Irwin; daughter, Laura Fritsky of Mesa, Ariz.; grandchildren, Chase Mattis, Christopher Fritsky, Jacob Fritsky, Casey Proctor; and great-grandchildren, Blake and Briella Proctor. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Anthony and Alexander Fritsky; and sisters, Anna Dobos, Nellie Fritsky and Helen Fritsky. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 23, at the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC with Father Dimitri Ermakov of St. Mary’s Russian Orthodox Church, McKeesport officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Masks MUST be worn and social distancing must still be maintained.
