Homer M. Osborne – Charleroi

Homer M. Osborne, 75, of Charleroi, passed away peacefully on Oct. 19, 2020, at The Residence at Hilltop assisted living facility. The son of the late Homer and Carmalene Caputo Osborne, Homer was born on Feb. 19, 1945, in North Charleroi. A graduate of Charleroi High School, Homer served his country honorably in the U.S. Army and was a member of Saint Andrew the Apostle Parish. Homer is survived by his wife Sandra McGinty Osborne of Charleroi; son, Jason (Valerie) Osborne of Charleston, Maine; grandson, Mathew J. Annis of Charleston, Maine; sister-in-law, Angenita Osborne of Charleroi; brother-in-law, John Thompson of Charleroi; and goddaughter Kimberly Zewan Guthrie of Eighty Four. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, John H. Osborne, Robert Y. Osborne; and niece, Carla Jo Renneck. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23 in the SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME, 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Pa., 15022. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020 at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, Charleroi, Seventh Street and Washington Avenue, Charleroi, Pa. Friends and family are asked to go directly to the church. Due to COVID-19, masks and social distancing are required inside the funeral home and at the church.
