Mary Joan “Joann” Arrigoni, 79, of North Charleroi, passed away on Monday, Oct. 12, 2020, at her home. Born in Dunbar, on April 8, 1941, she was a daughter of the late James Vincent and Madeline Ruse Sberna. An avid bingo player, Joann patronized the Lock 4 Bingo in North Charleroi. She worked as a waitress for Mon Valley Country Club in Carroll Township. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William B. Leckie; and her second husband, Leo Arrigoni. Left to cherish her memory are her four children, Cindy Greene of Belle Vernon, Mary Lou Leckie of Donora, William Leckie of Donora, and Joseph Leckie of Fayette City; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Rose Marie (Charles) Johnson of Donora; one brother, Anthony Sberna of Donora; and several nieces and nephews. Joann’s family would like to thank Via Quest Hospice for its loving care and support. Arrangements have been entrusted to ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext., Carroll Township/Donora, PA 15033, 724-379-6900, where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2020. Interment will follow at Monongahela Cemetery. In order to be compliant with the new “norm” of COVID-19 restrictions, attendance will be limited to 25 people at any given time inside the funeral home. Guests are asked to obey social distancing guidelines and personal protection guidelines, which include masks within the funeral home. Guests may be asked to limit their visitation times so that all visitors will have the opportunity to pay their respects. Thank you.
