Madalyn Beres Billy – Monessen

Madalyn Beres Billy, 86, of Monessen, passed away on Friday, Oct. 9, 2020, in Hallsworth House of Monessen. She was born on June 16, 1934, in Monessen, daughter of the late George and Anna Chan Beres. Madalyn was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church of Monessen. Surviving are her daughter, Marianne and husband Ronald Molnar of Perryopolis; sons, Leonard and wife Dawn Billy of Monessen and Thomas and wife Cheryl Billy of Briston, Va.; grandchildren, Benjamin and wife Lynda Billy, Kristina Billy and Allyssa Billy; great-grandson, Garrin Billy; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Billy; and brothers, George and Mike Beres. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct.11, 2020. Funeral services will be held Monday, Oct. 12, with a blessing service at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at Epiphany of Our Lord Church in Monessen. Entombment will follow at Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum of Monessen. Visitors are asked to please wear a mask and practice social distancing while visiting the funeral home. The Billy family would like to extend a special “thank you” to the staff of Hallsworth House of Monessen and Viaquest Hospice for the exceptional care that was rendered to Madalyn.
