Donora Mayor Jim McDonough said he stands by the choices that led to him being cited by police for disorderly conduct.
A non-traffic citation was filed against McDonough, 48, after he was involved in a verbal altercation with a borough worker on Saturday.
According to the complaint, the altercation stemmed from an incident earlier in the week.
McDonough said Tuesday that he had still not received the citation in the mail, but he wanted to share his side of the story as mayor of the borough, a husband and father.
McDonough said an incident occurred involving the worker and his wife, Angela, outside their Donora home Thursday morning.
Anglea McDonough said she was preparing to take her son to daycare while street workers were performing various tasks in the block where their home is located.
She claims one worker, who was blowing leaves and grass clippings, approached her when she was preparing to drive away and told her “she better shut her door” before blowing dirt, leaves and debris at her while she was sitting in her car.
