Alan Lee Roberts Jr., 26, of West Newton, died Sunday, Sept. 13, 2020, as a result of an automobile accident. Born Sept. 29, 1993, in Monongahela, he is the son of Alan L. Sr. and Paula Lusk Roberts of Monessen. An aspiring rapper, Alan loved music and was currently working as a cook for Panera Bread in Southland. Alan and his fiancée, Samantha Falkenstine, were planning to be married Oct. 10 of this year. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fianceé’s children, Erik Kennedy, Emilia Bolling and Easton Magyar; a sister, Sierra (Shaquan) Bishop and their newborn son, Kayden Lee Bishop, of Norfolk, Va.; paternal aunts, Lisa, Tracey, Sharon and Debbie Roberts; a maternal aunt, Nikki Williams; and maternal uncles, Dean (Lisa) Lusk and Mark (Shannon) Lusk. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, six uncles and a cousin. Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Alan’s life at MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767, marshallmarrafuneralhome, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020, at which time services will begin with the Rev. Raymond Dicamillo officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting donations be made to the funeral home. Guests are asked to please abide by personal protective guidelines and social distancing.
