After a tough opening-season loss to their rival, the Ringgold boys soccer team bounced back in a big way, knocking off Laurel Highlands and giving first-year head coach Matt Snyder his first win on the Rams’ sideline.
Shane Seiler’s goal at the 14:04-mark of the first half stood up to give the Rams a 1-0 Section 3-3A win over the visiting Mustangs.
Snyder, obviously happy to get his first win, raved about the impressive play by his back line and the outstanding play of goalkeeper Jeremy Mullen.
“I don’t really think we played any differently than we played Monday,” Snyder said. “I think we just played with more composure. I can’t say enough about the play of our back line and Mullen in frame for us is huge.”
