Going into Elizabeth Forward’s opening game against East Allegheny, Rob Hrabosky admits he was nervous.
Season openers are often a time for excitement and boundless optimism, but the senior defender was worried. He was worried that after a COVID-altered offseason, he and his teammates would come out shaky. He was worried that East Allegheny, a team that often plays the Warriors’ soccer team hard, would give them trouble.
Those things, in some respect, proved to be true.
Nevertheless, the Warriors prevailed with relative ease, beating the Wildcats, 2-0, in Section 1-2A play Wednesday night.
