Deborah H. Kudrec – Glassport

Deborah H. Kudrec, 65, of Glassport, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2020, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Oct. 13, 1954, in Braddock, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Anne Marto Gongaware. A homemaker, Deborah was a fun-loving person with a great sense of humor who enjoyed playing bingo and watching wrestling and her soap operas. She is survived by a son, John R. “Jr.” Kudrec of Glassport; two daughters, Angela M. Kudrec (Kenneth Braucher) of North Huntingdon and Priscilla (Pidge) Van Kirk of New Eagle; five brothers, Danny, Richard, Dennis, John and Jimmy Gongaware; four sisters, Pam Mahilak, Bonnie Balasandro, Betty Lou Gongaware and Julie Salmon; and her granddaughter whom she cherished, Cheyanne Van Kirk; along with many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband, Dennis Kudrec, who died April 8, 2015; two brothers, Dale and Barry Gongaware; and three sisters, Faye Salmon, Janis Huzdovich and Rhonda Gongaware. Friends will be received at MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767, marshallmarrafuneralhome.com, from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2020, with the Rev. Josh Green officiating. Interment will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
