Blanche A. ‘Tiny’ Tyree Patterson – Donora

Blanche A. “Tiny” Tyree Patterson of Donora, was ushered by angels into eter-nal life on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2020, at the age of 71. She was born in Donora on Feb. 6, 1949, the daughter of the late Daniel Tyree and Adele Lewis Tyree. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Patterson Sr.; three brothers, Thomas “Tommy” Tyree, John “Trick” Tyree and Charles Tyree; and three sisters, Alice Taylor Stone, Martha Tyree and Lillian “Lil” Tyree. She was a lifelong resident of Highland Terrace in Donora, where you could find her sitting on the porch enjoying the community she lived in. Tiny also enjoyed playing bingo. She leaves to cherish her loving memory one son, Charles Edward Jr. of South Park; three daughters, Stacey Patterson of South Park, Javit Patterson of South Park and Carmellia Patterson of Pittsburgh; one brother, Russell Tyree Sr. of Donora; and one sister, Nancy Tyree of St Paul, Minn.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Tiny will be sadly missed, her soul has been anchored in the Lord. Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Aug. 22, 2020, at First Baptist Church, 541 Allen Ave., Donora, where funeral service will begin at noon. The eulogy will be given by Pastor Quallan T. Hawkins of First Baptist Church, Donora. Interment will be private.
