Lena Steele Disclafani, 92, of Charleroi, passed away peacefully on Aug. 15, 2020, at the Southmont Presbyterian Senior Care Center in Washington, Pa. She was born March 2, 1928, in Fairhope, and grew up in her beloved town of Fayette City. Lena was the daughter of the late Alexander and Catherine Deneen Steele. Lena was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Charleroi where she taught Sunday school, loved helping in the kitchen and making nut and apricot rolls during the holiday seasons. Lena was predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years, Paul Disclafani. She is survived by her two daughters, Janet Marshall and husband Bruce Marshall of Charleroi, and Paula Dolence and husband Jeff Dolence of Beavercreek, Ohio. She was a beloved grandma to five grandchildren, Lindsay Dolence Green and husband Eric Green of Beavercreek, Ohio; Melanie (Marshall) Lam and husband Dr. Erek Lam of Gibsonia; Lauren (Dolence) Davidson of Xenia, Ohio; Chelsea (Marshall) McIntyre and husband Tom McIntyre of Greensburg, and Christopher Dolence of Beavercreek, Ohio. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, Cecelia, Delilah, Stella and Roman Green; Amelia, Benjamin and Jonathan Lam; James, Olivia and Daniel Davidson; and Sydney McIntyre. Lena was also a devoted aunt to many nieces and nephews; and so many friends knew and loved her as “Grandma Lena.” She had a wonderful life, well-lived with happiness, kindness and generosity. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, a private viewing and service for immediate family only. Interment will follow at Mon Valley Memorial Park. Arrangements were entrusted to SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to the Presbyterian Senior Care, 835 South Main St., Washington, PA 15301; or to Family Hospice, 50 Moffitt St., Pittsburgh, PA 15243.
