Kathy Collins, 69, of Monongahela, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2020. She was born Aug. 21, 1950, in Monongahela, daughter of the late John and Elida Cucchiorini Nickolas. Mrs. Collins was a 1969 graduate of Charleroi High School and had been employed as a server at Rego’s restaurant in Charleroi for over 20 years. She was a longtime member of the St. Katharine Drexel Parish of Bentleyville. She enjoyed her cats and trips to the casino but the time spent with her grandchildren is what she cherished most. On May 15, 1971, she married Mathew Collins Sr., who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Michael Collins Sr. of California, Pa. and Mathew Collins Jr. of Monongahela; a daughter, Evonne Henderson (Eric) of Charleroi; four grandchildren, Braden and Carter Collins, Leena and Ava Henderson; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a brother, John Nickolas; two sisters, Rhonda and Deborah Nickolas; and one grandson, Michael Collins Jr. Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at GREENLEE’S BENTLEYVILLE FUNERAL HOME, 619 Main St., Bentleyville, where prayers will be said at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, 2020, at St. Katharine Drexel Parish, Bentleyville Campus with the Rev.
