AMD Industries finished off its second consecutive undefeated regular season with a convincing 57-35 victory over Lee Supply in Mon Valley Independent Summer Basketball League girls division play Wednesday night.
AMD (10-0) used a pair of large first-half runs to gain separation on the scoreboard and never looked back, gaining some extra momentum heading into Monday’s playoff matchup with Lee Supply.
“I’m super proud of these girls. Every night they show up, they play hard and they give me everything they’ve got,” AMD coach Bria Rathway said. “With 12 girls on the roster, we always have 10 to 12 girls here and that just shows from the first game until now, how close they’ve gotten and how much they enjoy working together.”
