Tasya Troxler-Scott earned herself a start for unbeaten AMD Industries and she made the most of it Wednesday in the middle game of a Mon Valley Independent Summer Basketball League tripleheader.
The Oakland Catholic junior was the lone player in double figures with 13 points as eight different players scored for AMD in a 45-21 win over Edward Jones.
“We knew in tryouts she was going to be a problem for teams defensively,” AMD head coach Bria Rathway said. “She played such a great game Monday, you have to reward her for that. Now as we go from game one to now, she’s not only hurting teams with her defense, but her offense, too.”
