Free COVID-19 tests available in McKeesport

Medical professionals from UPMC McKeesport are providing a local coronavirus testing site for city residents.
UPMC McKeesport and the McKeesport Faith Based Organization are offering free COVID-19 tests by appointment to the local community from 9 a.m. to noon today at The McKeesport Palisades, located at 100 Fifth Ave.
Trained UPMC providers will be on site in a mobile testing facility and will be wearing personal-protective equipment, including N95 masks or respirators, gowns, and gloves while providing nasal specimen collection for those in need.
UPMC McKeesport teams will offer testing again from 9 a.m. to noon. July 29 at First United Methodist, 1406 Cornell St.
Tests will be offered by appointment only. Appointments can still be made for both sessions, but space is limited. Call 412-664-2306 to make an appointment. Patients should plan to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled appointment time.
