BeeGraphix used a big first half to pull into a first-place tie with Farmers Insurance Tuesday night in MVISBL action at Marx’s Court Time.

Coach Tim Tyree’s BeeGraphix squad was dominant end to end, securing a 70-40 victory over winless Union Cleaners.

BeeGraphix (4-1) was led by LH’s Rodney Gallagher, who poured in 24 points.

The boys in black were impressive as they came out firing from long range, connecting on four 3-pointers and limiting Union Cleaners to just 3 points over the first eight minutes of the game.

BeeGraphix was able to share the wealth in that 28-3 spurt. Not only was Gallagher a key factor, but big man Ty Iwanonkiw was impressive, knocking down a triple, two free throws, and playing stellar defense on the interior.

The catalyst that sparked the run, though, was Trey Champine of Bishop Canevin. He connected on three triples and finished with 18 points.
