Raymond ‘Butch’ Hewitt Jr. – Charleroi

Raymond “Butch” Hewitt Jr., 63, of Charleroi, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020, at his home. Born in Charleroi on Sept. 29, 1956, a son of Raymond N. Hewitt Sr. and Sandra McBurnie Hewitt, Butch was self-employed in construction. He was a member of the Charleroi Slovak Club and the Charleroi Belgium Club. He is survived by his life companion, Susan Hollis of Charleroi; a daughter, Sabrina; three sons, Todd, Butchie and Jeremy; two sisters, Hope and Sherry; and four brothers, Donald, Joseph, David and Robert. A memorial service will be held at MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 825 Falllowfield Ave., Charleroi, on Saturday, July 25, 2020. Family and friends will gather from 11:30 to noon, when the memorial service will begin. Face masks are to be worn entering and within the funeral home, along with social distancing.
