Dolores B. ‘Dolly’ Evans – West Mifflin, formerly of Donora

Dolores B. “Dolly” Evans, 82, of West Mifflin, formerly of Donora, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at her home. She was born in Donora on July 4, 1938, a daughter of the late Samuel and Anna Turkovich Vukich. Dolly loved to cook and catered food for many weddings and funeral luncheons. She enjoyed being outdoors, planting flowers, listening to Croatian music, and most of all spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Samuel Vukich; and four sisters, Geraldine Dean, Theresa White, Mary Foor and Clara Bulko. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Allen R. Evans, whom she would have celebrated 60 years of marriage with on Oct. 23, 2020; four children, Alan Evans of Jeannette, Shelly Evans of Cranberry, Thomas Evans of North Versailles and Daniel (Geraldine) Evans of Monroeville; three grandchildren, Joshua Evans of St. Petersburg, Fla., Tayler Evans of Irwin and Dane Evans of Murrysville; one brother, John (Liz) Vukich of Arizona; five sisters, Agnes Vukich of Donora, Mildred (Louis) Greco of Donora, Caroline (Fred) Ruev of Donora, Irene (John) Caserta of Ohio and Catherine Dudgeon of Donora; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation and funeral services were held for Mrs. Evans on Monday, July 20, 2020. Interment took place at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
