Dax Thomas State Farm rolls past Edward Jones

The sharpshooting of Chloe Pordash, Lydia Zoglmann and Ella Cupka helped lead Dax Thomas State Farm to a 54-36 victory over Edward Jones in Mon Valley Independent Summer Basketball League girls division play Wednesday at Marx’s Court Time Sports Center in Elizabeth Township.
Pordash, a Serra Catholic junior, poured in a game-high 16 points, while Cupka, an incoming freshman from Brentwood, scored eight of her 10 points in a critical second half. A junior from Thomas Jefferson, Zoglmann added 11 points for State Farm (3-1).
