James Koussonmbus – Elco

James Koussonmbus, 83, of Elco , passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at his home. Born in Elco on November 27, 1936, a son of John and Flora Bergen Koussonmbus, Mr. Koussonmbus was retired from the former Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. He was a life-time member of the Eagles and a social member of the Charleroi American Legion. He is survived by his son, Randy (Donna) Koussonmbus of Titusville, Fla.; a daughter, Amy Jo Koussonmbus of Roscoe; three grandchildren, Randi and John Koussonmbus and Scotty Carrell; three great-grandchildren, Cloe, Donald and Ashlynn; and a brother, Chris Koussonmbus of California; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mr. Koussonmbus was preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela Koussonmbus; a brother, John Koussonmbus; and two sisters, Blanche Rodriguez and Margie Lycette. Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday, July 17, at the MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 825 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, where services will begin at 5:30 p.m. A memorial service will be announced for a later date. Online condolences may be expressed at www.melenyzer.com. Face masks will be required entering and within the funeral home along with social distancing.
