Henry C. Allen, 69, of Monessen, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 5, 2020. He was born Dec. 17, 1950, to the late Henry Henderson Sr. and Geraldine Allen. Henry, known to many as “Buster” and “Cab,” was a loving person and he enjoyed traveling, the casinos and watching sports. His favorite team was the Steelers and his favorite food was T-bone steaks. Buster was known from the East Coast to the West Coast. Some people, including himself, thought him to be a cool cat. He worked a series of jobs at places such as General Motors and Ford of Detroit, Mich. He also worked as a bounty hunter for several years. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Ryan Hardy; and a sister, Helen R. Diggs. He leaves to cherish in his loving memory a daughter, Dana Majors Perdue of Monessen; son and daughter-in-law, Henry and Latonia Tolliver of California; son, Drew J. Smith of Charleroi; daughter, Rochelle Settles of Ohio; daughter, Shelly R. Smith of Donora; daughter, Lakecia N. Allen of Detroit, Mich.; daughter, Shawanta T. Allen of Detroit, Mich.; and son, Julius T. Allen of Detroit, Mich. He also leaves behind a host of brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many other relatives and very close friends. Chapel viewing and service will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, at HOUSE OF JACKSON MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 546 Thompson Ave., Donora, Pa. Final celebration has been gently placed in the hands of Karl Jackson, funeral director, 724-379-5420.
