Hazel K. Hoffman – Apollo, formerly of Rostraver Township

Hazel K. Hoffman, 79, of Apollo, formerly of Rostraver Township, died peacefully at home, among her loved ones, on Monday, July 13, 2020. Born in North Charleroi on Nov. 9, 1940, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Mary F. Boyd Evans. Hazel was a member of the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed her family and the daily time spent with her grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Jonathan (Mindy) Hoffman of Apollo; stepsons, William (Margaret) Hoffman of Belle Vernon, Robert (Margaret) Hoffman of Smithfield and Paul (Candy) Hoffman of North Carolina; grandchildren, Benjamin Hoffman, Sarah Hoffman and Hannah Hoffman; and sister, Carol (Gary) Gregg of Coal Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David W. Hoffman; and her siblings, Fern, Violet, Gladys, Ruth, Gerald and John “Clifford.” Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com with her brother-in-law, the Rev. Gary Gregg, officiating.
