Frances J. Grunwald – Belle Vernon

Frances J. Grunwald, 75, of Belle Vernon, died on Sunday, July 12, 2020, at Quality Life Services in Markleysburg, Pa. Born Sept. 25, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances Walchok Grunwald. She is survived by a brother, Frank J. Grunwald of Belle Vernon; sisters, Elizabeth (the late Frank) Peduti of Mariana, Rose (the late Steve) Galaski of Monessen, and Margaret Ann (the late Gary Alan) Grant of Belle Vernon. She is the loving aunt of Frank (Kathy) Peduti, Sharon (William) Laughner, Brenda (Dave) Dinardo, Pamela (Eugene) Scheller, Father Douglas Peduti, Ralph (Debbie) Brautigam, Joseph Brautigam, Stephen Nick (Sue Striffler) Galaski, John (Rose) Galaski, Vanessa (James) Nichol, Joseph (Judy) Grunwald, Beth Grunwald, Gary Grant, Christine (Patrick) Grant, and Saundra (Lee) Marks; also 30 great-nieces and great-nephews and 18 great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her niece, Diane Brautigam; brothers, Joseph Nick Grunwald and Theodore T. (Patricia Ann Rekrut) Grunwald; and sister Helen Brautigam. Friends will be received at STRIFFLER’S OF WHITE OAK CREMATION & MORTUARY SERVICES INC., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131, 412-678-6177, from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, July 15, 2020. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at St. Angela Merici Church, 1640 Fawcett Ave., White Oak, PA 15131. Burial will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
