Charles W. Usher – Belle Vernon, Rostraver Township

Charles W. Usher, 83, of Belle Vernon, Rostraver Township, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born June 17, 1937, in Pricedale, he was the son of the late John and Margaret Irene Cochenour Usher. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon area, Mr. Usher enjoyed restoring old cars, especially his 1941 Chevy Deluxe, golfing and trap shooting, winning several competitions. He is survived by his wife Shirley A. Biddle Usher, whom he married Aug. 30, 1954; four children Linda (Howie) Hill, Charles (Tressa) Usher Jr., Brenda (Mark) Neth, Paula (Kenno) Usher; 14 grandchildren, Brandon, Nathan, Garrett, Delana, Holly, Brayden, Brent, Presley, Devin, Tiffany, Charles III, Brennan, Nolan and Alea; 15 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law George and Judy Usher; pet dog, Shadow; many nieces and nephews; and special friends Scott and the Silbaugh family. He was preceded in death by a brother, John W. Usher; and two sisters, Marie Cocca and Betty Evangelist. The family would also wish to extend a special thank you to Pastor John Custer for his many visits and especially his prayers. Private family interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
