Summer activities will return to the streets of Elizabeth with the start of the Sound of Summer on Plum concert series July 9.

Plum Street will be turned into an outdoor dining and concert venue for the Thursday evening concerts, but with a few changes from past years, Elizabeth Area Development Corporation chairman Larry Ross said.
