Although COVID-19 continues to linger, the 50th annual Covered Bridge Festival will go on as scheduled this fall.

The EQT Washington & Greene Counties’ Covered Bridge Festival is set for Sept. 13 to 20 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

All 10 festival locations will offer a variety of activities, vendors and handmade arts and crafts.

Each covered bridge has a charm of its own that brings people back year after year, and with free admission, attracts thousands of people throughout the counties and surrounding communities.

The 10 festival sites are:

• Brownlee (McGuffey Community Park, Washington County).

• Hughes (Amwell Township, Washington County).

• Carmichaels (Carmichaels, Greene County).

• Ebenezer Bridge (Mingo Creek County Park, Washington County).

• Henry (Mingo Creek County Park, Washington County).

• Krepps (Mt. Pleasant Township, Washington County).

• McClurg (Hanover Township Park, Washington County).

• Pine Bank (Meadowcroft Rockshelter and Historic Village, Washington County).

• Wyit Sprowls (East Finley Township Park, Washington County).

• White (Garards Fort, Greene County).

A detailed brochure of events will be released later this summer.

For more information on each festival go to www.facebook.com/CoveredBridgeFestivalPA.

To receive updates, send an email to info@VisitWashingtonCountyPA.com with your name, mailing address and/or email address.

Interested vendors must contact individual site coordinators to participate.

A list of coordinators is available on the Washington & Greene Counties’ Covered Bridge Festival’s Facebook page.
