Anita L. Filchock – Fayette City

Anita L. Filchock, 90, of Fayette City, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020. Anita was born Jan. 4, 1930, in Newell, daughter of the late Tony McCune and Sophia Blachak McCune. Anita was a homemaker and an avid cook and baker. She was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon. The family would like to thank the staff at The Residence at Hilltop for its compassionate care. Anita is survived by her four daughters, Cheryl Filchock Graves and husband Peter of Orlando, Fla., Tina K. Filchock Worrell of Ocala, Fla., Mary Beth Rebele and husband Jim of Eighty Four, and Laurie King and husband Murray of Orlando, Fla. She was the proud grandmother of eight grandchildren, Christina, Ryan, Alexandra, Philip, Ashley, Stephen, Adam and Bryan; four step-grandchildren, Erin, Jonathon, Melissa and Christina; nine great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive Anita. Anita was preceded in death by parents; husband, Edward P. Filchock; one brother, Alex McCune; and two sisters, Lorraine Babich and Loretta Geller. Private viewing and services were held for the family. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Eley/McCrory Funeral Home Inc., Fayette City, www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com.
