Kathleen C. Kelemen, 73, of Rostraver Township, died Tuesday, June 9, 2020, in the emergency room of Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc. She was born on Sept. 7, 1946, in New Eagle, daughter of the late William J. and Lena DeMarino Greco. Kathleen was a 1964 graduate of Monessen High School and received her bachelor’s degree in education from California State College. She went on to Purdue University where she attained her master’s degree in special education. She was retired from Trade Winds Rehabilitation Center in Gary, Ind., where she was director of special services. Kathleen was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church in Monessen, Friends of Monessen Public Library, and the Catholic Women’s College Club. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert P. Kelemen; two sisters, Marlene Bishop of Flemington, N.J., Cynthia Greco of York, Pa.; brother, William J. (Melanie Antonio) Greco of Beallsville; and by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen. Services will be held on Saturday beginning with a 9:30 a.m. blessing in the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 44 Pennsylvania Blvd., Monessen, with the Rev. Michael J. Crookston officiating. Interment will follow in the Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora. Please wear a mask and practice safe social distancing during the viewing and the funeral services.
