Monessen High School’s graduation is set for 6 p.m. Friday and organizers have tried to provide the gist of a traditional commencement ceremony.
Each graduate can bring up to 10 guests, but every person who attends must wear a mask to participate in the ceremony. Graduates are asked to wear the paw-print masks they received with their caps and gowns.
Students and their guests should be in the school parking lot no later than 5:45 p.m. because the ceremony will begin at 6 p.m.
Graduates will park in the front faculty lot based on the order of the commencement procession. One spot per graduate will be reserved. Any other cars required for guests will have to park in the student lot.
