William R. Ailes – Coal Center

William R. Ailes, 80, of Coal Center, died Thursday, June 4, 2020. Born in California, Pa., on April 20, 1940, he was the son of the late James and Evelyn Russell Ailes. Bill worked for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and was also a truck driver. He was a member of United Christian Church in Coal Center. He is survived by his wife, Ella L. Elliott Ailes; sons, William (Suzanne) Ailes Jr. and Gary Ailes; granddaughter, Jessica Ellsworth; and grandson, Timmy Yonko. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jamie Ailes; stepson, Timothy Yonko; and stepdaughter, Trudy Ellsworth. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, 2020, at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 8, with the Rev. Charles Cochran officiating.
