Lloyd A. Sichi, 82, of North Belle Vernon, passed away Friday, June 5, 2020, at Grandview Estates, Elizabeth. Born Aug. 29, 1937, in Belle Vernon, he was the son of the late Orlando and Alice Gaggini Sichi. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Mr. Sichi attended First Presbyterian Church, Belle Vernon. Mr. Sichi was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Allenport plant, where he worked as a carpenter and was a member of retired steel workers (SOAR). He was a life member of the North Belle Vernon Fire Department, member of the Laurel Hunting Lodge, Belle Vernon Lions Club, served on the board at Mon Valley Community Federal Credit Union, had previously served on North Belle Vernon Borough Council and the Belle Vernon Municipal Water Authority. After his retirement, Lloyd worked at Parzynski Funeral Home for many years. He is survived by his wife, Donna Nelson Sichi, whom he was married to for 62 years; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Brad Manown of Rostraver Township; granddaughter Lindsey and Thomas McNeil; and great-granddaughter, Lydia McNeil. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 7, 2020, at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 8, at Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, with the Rev. Mary Kay Glunt of First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of the North Belle Vernon Fire Department will conduct services at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Condolences accepted at the funeral home’s website, www.parzynskifuneralhome.com. Keeping in compliance with the county and state mandate of “green phase,” guests are asked to please abide by personal protective guidelines, masks MUST be worn and social distancing must still be maintained.
