Mary K. Boyer Powell – Monongahela

Mary K. Boyer Powell, 85, of Monongahela, died Sunday, May 24, 2020, in North Strabane Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Canonsburg. Born Oct. 28, 1934, in Uniontown, Mary was the daughter of Charles A. and Elsie Ford Boyer. She was a graduate of Monongahela High School and Douglas School of Business in Monessen. Along with being a homemaker, she worked for many years as a Fuller Brush salesperson. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Monongahela and a Republican Party chairperson. Mary was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her good friend, Sally Woods and her family of Monongahela. Preceding her in death was her husband, Ralph Powell, who died in 2001. Due to the restrictions, interment was held in Monongahela Cemetery on Thursday, May 28, 2020.
