Laurie Jean Ross Giannini, of Belle Vernon, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at the age of 43. A daughter of the late John Ross and Cindy Kish Ross, who survives and resides in Belle Vernon, she was born in North Charleroi on March 1, 1977. Laurie graduated from Belle Vernon High School, where she was a majorette for four years, was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church and worked at PNC corporate headquarters in Pittsburgh for 12 years. She enjoyed traveling, outdoor adventures, spending time with family and friends, and loved all animals, especially her boxer Layla. Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband, Paul Giannini; grandparents, Mario and Jean Fazzini of Fayette City; nieces, Brooke and Brianna Rotheram; a nephew, Brian Rotheram; and a brother in-law and sister in-law, Brian and Carla Rotheram of Harrisburg. In addition to her father, John Ross, who died Jan. 13, 2019, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Rotheram in 2009; a grandfather, Bernard Kish; and grandparents, John and Ann Ross. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 8, in St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Michael Crookston officiating. Family and friends are asked to gather directly at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Washington Area Humane Society, a no-kill animal shelter, at 1527 Route 136, Eighty Four, Pa 15330.
