Louise Frances Cmar Olexa – Monessen

Louise Frances Cmar Olexa, 83, of Monessen, died on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, in Jefferson Hills Manor. She was born on Sept. 19, 1936, in Monessen, the daughter of the late Michael and Virginia Salotti Cmar. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George Olexa Jr. in 1976; and by a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and David Bellora. Louise was a life-long resident of Monessen, a 1954 graduate of Monessen High School and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church. She had worked at the Monessen plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. in the rail mill for domestic house cleaning. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth (Rebecca) Olexa of Monessen; brother, Michael (Ellen) Cmar of Monessen; sister, Lorraine (Richard) Leo of Monessen; a grandson, Chris Olexa of Monessen; and a granddaughter, Amanda Bellora of Monessen. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2020, in DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, visitation will be limited to 25 people at a time and everyone attending must wear a mask and practice social distancing. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. Joel Boco officiating. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery, Monessen.
