Gregory J. Jones, 32 of Monongahela, passed away Friday, May 29, 2020, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Aug. 18, 1987, in Pittsburgh, he is the son of Richard L. and Linda Carr Jones of New Eagle. Greg was a 2006 graduate of Brashear High School and was currently working at BAW Plastics in Jefferson Hills. Greg had a great sense of humor and loved cooking for his friends and family and going fishing. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Tiffany (Hollis) Jones, who he married May 23, 2015; brothers, Adam and Nathan; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Thomas and Jean Hollis of Elizabeth Township; several aunts and uncles and loving cousins; a sister-in-law, Ashley Hollis and fiancé Josh Miller of Orlando, Fla.; a brother-in-law, Andrew (Susan) Hollis of Wheeling, W.Va.; a niece and nephew, Jane and Henry Hollis; his dog, Pickles and cat, Flynn. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767, where services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2020, with the Reverend Mike Hough officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations are being suggested to any of your local animal shelters.
