Irene White – Middletown, Del., formerly of Monongahela
Irene White, 87, of Middletown, Del., formerly of Monongahela, died Tuesday, May 26, 2020. She was born Oct. 24, 1932, in Monongahela, the daughter of Michael and Emma Sisler Fransko. The Good Lord looked down and said “I need an angel by My side. One that is loving and caring with a heart of gold.” So He knew it was Irene that fit that mold. She was loved by all and will surely be missed, but she said goodbye and then blew us a kiss. For more than 50 years, Irene was married to Henry “Chick” White, who passed on May 24, 2002. She is survived by two daughters, Debra Hutchins of Felton, Del., and Bonita (Rick) Austin of Wilmington, Del.; nine grandchildren, John, Connie, Forrest, Thomas, Michelle, Kimberly, Stephanie, Richard and Ronald; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul (JoAnne) Fransko of Chardon, Ohio; and two sisters, Sandra (John) Derrico of Belle Vernon and Dawna (Gary) Heinz of Washington. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Kays-White; four brothers, Michael, Leroy, Ronald and Edward Fransko; sister, Dolores McCullough; and her son-in-law, Thomas Hutchins. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2020, at Monongahela Cemetery with the Rev. John Derrico officiating. FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC. is in charge of the arrangements.
