Honora J. Varchulik – Rostraver Township

Honora J. Varchulik, 96, of Rostraver Township, died Wednesday, May 27, 2020. Born in Rostraver Township on July 18, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Zigmund and Mary P. Frich Nega. Honora was a secretary for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation and was a member of St. Sebastian Parish in Belle Vernon. She enjoyed cooking and she loved working with her flowers and hanging baskets. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Charles Wiles (husband of her deceased sister, Georgetta Mary Wiles) and their daughter, Debbie Wiles Russell and her children, Jared Russell and Jessica Russell all of Rostraver; son, Frank (Harriett) Varchulik of Las Vegas; and their daughters, Tawnie (Wayne) Varchulik-Lawrence of Alabama and son, Anthony Lawrence and Tiffanie (Kevin) Kalisz-Howard of Las Vegas and daughter, Kayla Kalisz and deceased son, Mark Varchulik; sister-in-law, Mary K. Nega (wife of her deceased brother, Thomas Nega) and their deceased son, Thomas Nega Jr. and his children, Allison Barajas and Katie Nega and their daughter, Joy Nega Gazi and her daughter, Ashley Clawson, all of Rostraver; sister-in-law, Mary A. Nega (wife of her deceased brother, George Nega) and their daughters, Lori Nega Livingstone and her children, David Livingstone and Christopher Livingstone of Rostraver and Kim Nega Pozo of Florida. At Honora’s request, private family visitation was held at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a blessing service was held with the Rev. Michael J. Crookston officiating. Interment followed in Rehoboth Cemetery.
