Ringgold, Rocco advance to semifinals with 12-8 win

Ringgold’s improbably season will live to see another day as the Rams upended Seneca Valley, 12-8, at Mon-tour High School in a quarterfinal game and in the process qualified for the PIAA state playoffs.

But first, Ringgold (12-4) will face Bethel Park, a 9-4 winner over Hopewell, next week in the semifinals with a shot at the WPIAL crown on the line.
