The City of Monongahela has reopened all of its parks and the Aquatorium.
Mayor Greg Garry ordered the reopening this weekend.
“As we have moved into phase yellow, city government wants its residents and visitors to enjoy the warm weather outdoors,” Garry said.
Consistent with the current state of the phase yellow condition, everyone visiting city parks will be required to practice social distancing, groups larger than 25 people are prohibited and all other recommendations and guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Pennsylvania Department of Health must be followed.
The city issued a statement that everyone who enters Monongahela parks does so at their own risk and assumes all dangers of contracting the coronavirus.
