Edward J. Tolliver, 66, formerly of Monessen, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at Montefiore UPMC Hospital. He was born on July 21, 1953, to the late Lawyer and Lena Bailey Tolliver. Ed graduated from Ringgold High School and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was very active in sports and was an avid fisherman. He loved those Steelers and was a great brother, wonderful father and uncle and loving grandfather. Ed has a smile that was contagious and his personality was endearing. He loved life and the many friends and family who were a part of it. He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Ebony Tolliver (Malcom) Simmons; two sisters, Pauline and Merrill (Thurman)Isbell; his granddaughter, Essence Brewer; and a loving companion, Veronica Rodriguez. There will be a private viewing for family from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday May 26, 2020, with a service following at WILLIAM R. TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 645 McMahon Ave., Monessen, PA. 15062, 724-684-4877.
