It’s time for sports to return, whatever it is

There’s still no telling what it’s going to take to get sports going again. But I think there should be a little bit more of a rush to do so. Locally, regionally, statewide and nationally, we need this. I’m all about being careful and slowing the spread of the coronavirus, but to me, it looks like we did that. Now “flattening the curve” looks like it turned into lockdown “until we have a vaccine.” What I wouldn’t give to be covering the WPIAL baseball and softball playoffs right now, or to have been walking around Joe Montana Stadium a couple weeks ago with the rest of TeamMVI covering the Mid Mon Track Classic.
