Janet C. Dzadyk Ratica – Monessen

Janet C. Dzadyk Ratica, 68, of Monessen, passed on Thursday, May 14, 2020 in Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc. Born in North Charleroi on Dec. 18, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Margaret Madzy Dzadyk. Janet, along with her parents, owned and operated Cousin’s Floral Shoppe in Monessen. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell K. Ratica. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Travis and Adrienne Ratica of Pittsburgh; a grandson, Calvin Darrell Ratica; a brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Adele Dzadyk of Monessen; and a very special close friend, Justin Romasco of Monessen. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at ROBERT A. BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC., Grand Boulevard and Marion Avenue, Monessen, www.billicksfuneralhome.com. Funeral services will be private. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic regulations for the yellow phase, the funeral home will be limited to 25 guests at a time with social distancing and face masks required. Please try to limit your visit with family members to 5 minutes to accommodate other guests. Thank you in advance for helping all of us to be healthy and safe.
