David J. Stasicha – Fallowfield Township

David J. Stasicha, Jr., 69, of Fallowfield Township, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2020. Born on Aug. 26, 1950, he was the son of the late David and Virginia Stasicha. He was retired from Corning Glass and was a member of the Charleroi Sportsmen’s Club, North Charleroi Slavic Club, and the Charleroi Golden Agers. He enjoyed camping, going out to eat and spending time with his friends and grandchildren. He was good at fixing things and working on his cars, and often took his 1964.5 Mustang and 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass S. Convertible to car cruises. David is survived by his wife, Loretta Mitchell Stasicha; son, Mark (Shannon) Stasicha of Monongahela; daughter, Suzanne (Dave Benning) Stasicha of Fallowfield Township; grandchildren, Avalon, Chase, Dustin, Kaylyn, Tyler and Tanner; and several cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Michael Stasicha. Friends will be received from noon to 4 p.m., the time of services, Friday, May 15, at CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Keeping in compliance with Washington County’s “yellow phase,” attendance will be limited to 25 people at any given time. Guests are asked to obey social distancing and personal protection guidelines within the funeral home and limit visiting time to under 5 minutes.
