Linda Gail Benini, 71, of Charleroi, passed away at home on May 6, 2020. Linda was born in Charleroi on July 15, 1948, the daughter of the late Livio and Lillian Smalley Benini. Linda graduated from Charleroi High School in the Class of 1966. Following high school, she continued her education at Douglas School of Business in Monessen, where she earned her associate’s degree. For many years, she was the secretary and bookkeeper for Charleroi borough. Linda was a member of Saint Andrew the Apostle – Charleroi site (formerly Mary, Mother of the Church) and she was an active volunteer in numerous church activities including the Christ Life Program. Linda is survived by her brothers, Brian (Elizabeth) Benini of Woodbridge, Va., and Kevin Benini of Charleroi. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
