Elizabeth “Betty” Kunca Trembach, 92, passed away on April 28, 2020. She was born in Monessen on Sept. 29, 1927, daughter of the late Michael and Mary Resetar Kunca Sr. Betty was a graduate of Monessen High School. Growing up in Monessen, she attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. She had been an executive secretary for Ford Motors for many years in Michigan and had resided at the Henry Ford Village of Dearborn, Mich. She was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church in Dearborn, Mich. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Trembach; her brothers, Michael Kunca and George Kunsa; sisters, Mary Hrivnak, Irene Kunca Evans and Anna Kunca Gannitto; and a niece, Janice Kunsa Nelson. Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. Private funeral services were entrusted to RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen. Entombment took place in the Chapel of Belle Vernon Cemetery, with Pastor Matthew Stabe officiating. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions in Mrs. Trembach’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be conveyed to the family at www.rhomefuneralhome.com.
