Marcine F. Malush – Charleroi

Marcine F. Malush, 93, of Charleroi, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2020, at the Donnell Hospice House in Washington, Pa. Marcine was born on Jan. 5, 1927, in North Charleroi, daughter of the late John T. “Jack” Schwartz and Roseanne Newton Schwartz. A graduate of Charleroi High School, she went on to become a bank teller at First National Bank in Charleroi. After marriage and starting a family, Marcine was a devoted mother. She was also a loving grandmother and great-grandmother fondly known as “Nana.” She was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Charleroi. Marcine is survived by her daughter, Eileen Klapka (son-in-law Paul) of Virginia; granddaughter, Laureen; great-grandchildren, Grayson and Avory; daughter, Carol Rumberger (husband Jeff) of Allen, Texas; grandson, Erik; granddaughter Paige; daughter, Theresa (Terri) Malush of Premier Washington Rehabilitation Center of Washington, Pa.; Suzanne Malush of Virginia Beach, Va.; grandson, Ethan, Jeremy and Jonathan; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Marcine is preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph E. Malush Sr.; and son, Rudolph E. Malush Jr.; two sisters, Betty Hawk (Minor) and Florence Andrick (Anthony); and one brother, Jack Schwartz (Pattie). Due to Covid-19, there will be no public viewing or services at this time. A celebration of life for Marcine will occur at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC.
