Curbside pickup expanded
More Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores in the Mon Valley opened for curbside pickup over the weekend.
The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board announced 389 more locations will be open for curbside pickup after a successful launch of certain locations last week.
On April 20, curbside pickup was introduced at 176 locations. In its first four days, the curbside pickup program sold 38,145 orders totaling $3.64 million.
There will now be 565 stores open across the state.
PLCB Chairman Tim Holden said more locations were added to accommodate residents who have been unable to get through to their closest branch.
“We acknowledge that Pennsylvanians are frustrated with busy signals and want broader access to wine and spirits, so after learning from our experiences this past week, we’ve made improvements to process orders faster, expand the hours we take orders by phone, and be more flexible in scheduling pickups, even the same day, if pickup appointments are available,” Holden said.
All locations will take a limited number of orders by phone until the store reaches the maximum number of orders it can fulfill that day.
