For most college football recruiting targets, the period of time between the junior and senior season is when college coaches begin to amp up contact.
For South Allegheny’s Antonio Epps, it’s no different. But now the Gladiators star has noticed things have really ramped up with his recruitment.
Epps recently picked up a pair of Division I offers when Duquesne dropped one on April 4 and Richmond became the second Monday.
More offers, particularly those in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) will undoubtedly follow, with a good chance of some FBS offers to follow.
Epps is ecstatic to have two scholarship offers in hand and is anxious to see what could follow.
“It honestly feels great,” Epps said. “I thank God because it’s been my dream since I was a kid to play at the Division I level. Being able to make that a reality is a dream come true.”
